Finland Ice Marathon 22.-25.2.2012

Finland Ice Marathon is the highlight of the skating season. The event attracts participants from faraway countries each year. The avid fans from Finland and abroad flock in droves to enjoy the unique atmosphere, skating, and meeting friends. Finland Ice Marathon will be held on February 22-25, while the competition will take place on Saturday, 25th. Traditional long-distance cross-country skiing event Puijon Laturetki will follow the very next day, on Sunday, February 26. What an awesome combination! This event has been long anticipated, and now it will become reality. The organiser of both events, Sports Association of North Savonia is a very experienced event organizer, and as they saw the benefits of matching these two events, they will to rise the challenge of coordinating them both at the same time.
